Why We Built This Site
Georgia records do not sit in one public database. The Lamar County Sheriff's Office holds its own reports, booking material, and local criminal-history service. Court clerks maintain filed charges and dispositions, while GCIC receives reportable arrest cycles and outcomes from justice agencies. GDC and the Georgia Sex Offender Registry answer still different questions. This site brings the documented request paths, official contacts, fees, and search controls into one county-focused reference.

An official copy must come from its custodian, such as the sheriff, a court clerk, or GBI/GCIC. This site provides directions, not records.
